Signal processing

EEG Simulator

Generate EEG-like signals, compare their frequency bands and see a simple detector respond. Try the browser simulator or explore the Python desktop app.

The idea

What it does

The simulator combines alpha, theta and beta waves with background noise. Three selectable modes change the rhythm strengths over time. A simulated amplifier and ADC turn the signal into sample counts, while the display estimates frequency-band power and an illustrative detector state.

Demonstration

How it works

01

Choose eyes closed, relaxed eyes open or concentrating

02

Watch the waveform, frequency spectrum and detector respond

03

Pause, reset or export generated samples as CSV
